1. Filter cleanings - A fee of $80-$150 (depending on size of filter) twice per year billed at time of service. Most filters need to be cleaned every six months. However, some filters require more frequent cleanings due to abnormal debris, dog hair, pine needles, and other causes. If your filter requires more than once every six-months; we will notify you.

2. Additional Water Treatment Chemical Fee - $100.00 Billed Once Per Year in June Conditioner (Chlorine Stabilizer) – This is added as needed throughout the year. Conditioner, also known as Cyanuric Acid (CyA), protects the chlorine in your pool from ultra violet rays. When conditioner is present in sufficient concentrations, the chlorine residuals remain three to ten times longer than water without conditioner. Algaecide (Algae Prevention) - This is added regularly throughout the year, usually a small dose each week and larger doses when needed. Algaecide eliminates algae as well as prevents future growth.

Shock Treatment – Periodically, all pools need to be “shocked” – especially in the summer months with higher swimmer loads and warm weather. We also use a small dose of shock every week as preventative maintenance throughout the year. This oxidizes your pool and destroys ammonia (which is secreted from swimmer’s pores), chloramines, nitrogen and other by-products.

3. Cell cleaning for salt-water pools. $60 billed as needed. The cells used to convert salt into chlorine will build up calcium over time. The cells need to be disassembled and cleaned with an acid-based solution. Cleaning should be done every 3-5 months. Cells usually have a 3 year warranty from the manufacturer (depending on the brand) and last about 3-5 years before needing total replacement.
